Frisbee Field, Cherokee Park, Louisville, KY
Over the course of my life, I've probably spent more time in Cherokee Park than any other place in Louisville, but never have I seen the fields so completely overcome with these tiny yellow flowers! It's a curious thing. We were instantly drawn to the sunniest spot with a cooler of beers and a Nerf Turbo football, to sit on a picnic blanket and watch our dogs kick up clouds of golden pollen. First sunburn of the year.
P.S. Past posts about Cherokee Park here and here.
