My favorite! Swedish meatballs in brown gravy, served with lingonberry jam and pickles.

We went to a Hammarby soccer match on Kurt's Birthday.

Tomorrow I'll post photos of our trip across the Baltic Sea to the island of Gotland, the home of Pippi Longstocking, Ingmar Bergman, saffron pancakes, viking ruins and medieval castles.

  1. "French Hot dog"???? Whaaa??? I'm not normally a hot dog person, but that looks amazing. Oh and so the rest of your photos. I'm kinda wishing I was there right now!

  4. Jennifer: They may be called hot dogs but these are certainly a step above. Really nice fresh sausages, not the gross American kind. So good!

Thanks Celeste! I always think of you when I post travel related things because of your Wanderlust blog. :)

Iggy - Thanks! I have a knack for smelling out tasty food. It's my favorite part of travel.
