We discovered that it was completely inhabited by generations of nesting geese.

An hour from Stockholm, all along the coast, there is a vast speckling of over 24,000 islands. Only about a thousand have been claimed - little private places to perch a boat dock or small cabin. The Archipelago is only an hour away from the city and many Stockholmers call these retreats their weekend homes. We were lucky enough to have been invited to spend a weekend there, where it's beautiful and quiet, tucked between the birch forests and little pockets of ocean.
