Wildflowers.

I'm making a fall wreath from these wildflowers I found.

Harold helped.

I'll hang the flowers up to dry. When they are ready, I'll weave them into a
grapevine wreath with tiny gourds and acorns, strands of wheat and seed pods.

I picked lots of flowers, despite the bees, thorns and mud.

goldenrod

Kentucky's state wildflower, beautiful goldenrod.

sumac

Wild sumac. (Thanks, Jessi.)

I hope these flowers preserve nicely. I'd love to have them around for a while.
